Educate – Incubate – Empower

The three pillars of Polaris Educational and Cultural Trust, under each we have separate teams responsible for are doing a certain set of activities with an impactful transformation at the ground level.

Education (Our initiatives in schools)

We are working in schools, focus on English language proficiency and writing skills and also focus on science and maths. We have setup Pencrafters club for encouraging the students indulge in writing their heart out, because if they can express themselves better, they can do wonders. We have also setup science and maths club encouraging them to indulge in technology to lead the world in future. We are working in the inter colleges to help the young students prepare for SAT, one of its kind program in the entire North India helping students willing to study in the USA for their graduation under merit cum need based scholarships.

Incubation (Our initiatives at the colleges)

At college level we are sunning PIC or Polaris Incubation Center to help college students start working on their startup ideas, help them get seed fund and grow. PIC stands with a vision of

A Startup in every college by acting as a launch pad to take the startup and early stage ideas from the schools and colleges to the real world.

And our mission is

To nurture the ideas in young minds in small and underserved towns to tuen them into the shining stars in the business world by helping them accelerate, seed and incubate.

We are acting as a business launchpad for the students with ‘ideas’ and ‘willingness to take their idea to the world’. We run a business accelerator program to help them develop their idea into a small business, help industry matchmaking and raise funds. We have developed plans and milestones to evaluate their progress and also collaborated with the industry leaders for support and guidance. This signature program supports our goal of understanding entrepreneurship and diversifying engagement with a focus on under-represented students to participate and excel.  

Empower (Our initiatives in community service)

We understand the importance of knowledge, especially for the marginalized communities knowing that a breast feeding mother is entitled to a monthly lactation allowance, a help from the government’s child welfare department, that these ladies in these communities dont dont know. Similarly the bright students in these communities are devoid of the various scholarships available for them from the government as well as private donors. Their ration card, Adhaar card, Voter list, widow pension, old age pension and so on, we are helping in alll of these for free.
